Synergy Spring Update 2019

Hello World from all of us at Synergy Gardens! Heres what we’ve got going on this Spring (our 6th season farming in Homer AK!) and what were planning for the Summer of 2019!!!

Sign up now for our limited Synergy Gardens CSA shares! Our CSA is growing and evolving, this year we will be offering 20 full CSA shares. Purchasing a CSA share is the most direct way to join the Local Food Movement by supporting Locally Sourced Community Supported Agriculture and gain access to the freshest in season produce available from our organic farm.

Synergy Gourmet CSA $625 (Sign up by April 1st for the Early Sprout Discount of a free Garlic Braid or a free Week of produce for $600!)- A Synergy CSA includes 25 full weeks of seasonal gourmet produce including vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and as many surprises as the season allows, straight from our farm, to your table. We offer CSA pickup at the Wednesday Homer Farmers Market or delivery to your place of business if there are 3 or more shares to deliver. The end date for joining the Synergy CSA is April 20th. CSA Share sizes are designed for a family of 4. We will offer seasonal servings based on our crop rotations which means that seasonal treats will delight the appetite and as the season ends boxes will include end of season root cellar specials! If your not a family of 4, we still encourage you to find a friend and split a share.

For CSA information contact Lori Jenkins - (706)-273-0077

We prefer text messaging to calls so we don’t have to stop working… thanks for your patience, farming ain’t easy ya’ll! we will be in touch as soon as we wash our hands…

Synergy spring update 2018;

So far the journey has been indescribable, but I'm going to try anyway. to say that it has been the greatest adventure of our lives would be an understatement. to say that it has been challenging beyond imagination would be fair. to say that it has been rewarding beyond all expectation would be a fact. As Synergy Gardens goes into its 5th growing season, we feel the grip of winter slowly relenting and are finally seeing plant life take the risk of sending out green shoots. we're prepped and ready for the year with thousands of plants getting their start inside the family home and a garlic crop that has endured the long winter and is poking up from our new garden beds. this is going to be a huge season for synergy gardens and the jenkins family as we try to reach our goals of achieving our lands full potential at being an organic market garden. we've cleared land for a sizable garden space, built 2 more high tunnels, are making plans for a new shop and product managing center as well as Obadiah's future house, and we've put in extensive irrigation ponds to secure a dependable water source. the effort it will take to achieve these goals are immense but the long alaska summer days make the work a pleasure.
